A sporadic species of the damp grasslands. This taxon can be set in an artificial group of species which are very similar in concerning the habit, and especially the basal leaves (Cnidium silaifolium, Silaum silaus, Selinum carvifolia, Peucedanum palustre). The naturalists should be very attentive at the fruits of these plants which make the difference.
